1316, Ralph Beler witnessed the foundation charter of his cousin Rober Beler of a chantry at Kerby Bellars.

1318, Ralph Beler coroner of Leicester.

1318, Ralph Beler sheriff of Warwick and Leicester.

12/1319, Ralph replaced as sheriff by William de Nevill.

1319, Ralph Beler witnessed the foundation charter of his cousin Rober Beler of a chantry at Kerby Bellars.

1322, Ralph and Robert Burdet assessors and collectors for the lay subsidy in Leicestershire.

1325, Ralph Beler knight of the shire in parliament.

1/1326, Ralph’s cousin Roger Beler murdered by the Folevill gang. [The same gang that 4 years later would abduct Richard Wylughby, the justice presiding over this murder.]

Roger granted the manor to Ralph and Agatha for the terms of their lives, the reversion to James Beler, son of Ralph and Agatha, and the male issue of James, in default to Ralph, the brother of James, and his male issue, and in default to the right heirs of Ralph Beler (the father) for ever.

1338, Ralph died died holding lands in Sysonby and Eye Kettleby.
