1232, IPM of Roger of Monte Vego: … before his death he gave that land to a certain John de Lunguilers, … (S) Henrici de Bracton De Legibus, I70, V1, 1878, P399. [Roger is the half-brother of Clemence who was a coheir, John is her grandson.]

1238, Clementia de Lungvilliers, widow, confirmed a grant to the monks of Pontefract of the advowson of the church of Silkston.

1/16/1240, Clemencia de Longvillers gives 1 m. for having a writ to attaint twelve jurors. Order to the sheriff of Yorkshire etc. (S) FRsHIII.

·         Eudo de Longvillers, with the consent of his wife, Clence, and his heir, John, confirmed lands in Cononley given by William of Goldsborough [to Bolton priory.] (S) Bolton Priory, Legg, 2004, P18.

·         Robert Nevylle, of Hornby, Chivaler, sued John del Cotes, Chaplain, and John de Clifton, for the manor of Appleby, which Clemence de Lungvilers gave to Eudo, her son, and the heirs of his body. (S) De Banco. Mich. 1. Hen. 4. m. 103.

·         Matilda, d/o Adam fitz Swain, married 1st Adam de Montbegon, lord of Hornby, who’s son Roger died in 1227 without heirs. Matilda married 2nd John Malherbe. Children: son John died bef. 1/2/1216; daughter Mabel married Geoffrey de Nevill; daughter Clementia married Eudo de Longvilers. Matilda married 3rd to Gerald Glanville.

·         Matilda’s sister Amabel married 1st William de Nevile, 2nd Alexander de Crevequer.
