10/28/1216, Henry III, age 9, crowned king of England.

3/19/1219, Otuel de Bosco and Matilda, his wife, give the king half a mark for having a pone, before the itinerant justices, of a plea between them, claimants, and Ralph of Southleigh, defendant, concerning 17 acres of land and four solidates of rent with appurtenances in Avon Dassett. (S) FRsHIII.

2/26/1222, To the sheriff of Gloucestershire. Ralph, son and heir of Ralph of Sudeley has made fine with the king by £100 for his relief of the lands formerly of Ralph, his father, which he ought to hold of the king in chief and which fall to him by his inheritance, and the king has taken his homage.  (S) FRsHIII.

5/25/1233, Acknowledgement of the delivery in the wardrobe at Tewkesbury, … by Ralph de Sudley, Ralph de Chaundos, … assessors and collectors of the fortieth in the county of Gloucester, to Peter de Rivallis, the treasurer, of 395£ 5s 5.5d. (S) CPRs.

Bef. 3/19/1242, Ralph de Sudleie died.

4/30/1242, Imenia, who was the wife of Ralph of Southleigh , has made fine with the king by 1000 m. for having the custody of all lands formerly of Ralph and of his heirs, together with their marriage, to have and hold until the legal age of the same heirs, and that she might marry herself to whom she will wish. … Order to the sheriff of Gloucestershire … Order to the sheriffs of Warwickshire and Worcestershire … The king has also granted to Imenia that if Isabella , who was the wife of Ralph of Southleigh, father of the aforesaid Ralph, happens to die before the aforesaid heirs come of age, Imenia is to have the custody of the lands which Isabella holds in dower of the gift of the aforesaid Ralph, and then she is to render £100 per annum … (S) FRsHIII.

By 1267, Ismenia died.

·         Reign of King John: Ralph de Sudeley granted the monks of Winchcombe to make a ditch which brought water to their mill in a strait course for 8d.
