3/16/1711, As a supplement to his income as a joiner, Antoine leased a vineyard form the Jacobin priests on 3/16/1711. This is the first document that shows his name as Antoine Bouzage de La Brosse. • “Before the undersigned royal notaries, … leases, rents, and lets out to Mr. Andre Blanchet, printer, and Miss Marie Bouzage, his wife, who gives authorization, living in Poitiers, parish of Notre Dame la Petite, present and accepting for seven entire years, to begin on the feast of next Christmas … a detached building, part of a larger one, situated next to the Rue des Cordeliers, parish of Notre Dame la Petite.
