9/9/1503, Anne’s mother died.

By 1508, Robert married to Anne.

1508, Thomas, brother of Sir William Say, left a son William, who died. Two daughters, Anne wife of Sir Robert Hussey of Linwood, co. Lincoln, and Elizabeth wife of William Clopton, second son of Sir William Clopton of Melford and Lutons, co. Suffolk were the heirs. 1529, Anne succeeded to more of the holdings of her grandmother Alice’s brother.

Robert Hussey of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, died.

·         7/7/1546, Thomas Hussey. Lease … of the site of the manor of Blanckeney, Linc., and its demesnes, lately in tenure of Sir Robert Hussey, dec., which belonged to Sir John lord Hussey (d.1537), attainted. (S) CCRs.

·         The father of Thomas Hussey and Sir John Hussey (attained), was Sir William Hussey (d.1495), Chief Justice of the King’s bench. Sir William had multiple sons by multiple wives. Robert could be a younger son of Sir William, or a son of an elder son of Sir William.
