1559, Henry [Brune/Browne], of Athelhampton, Co. Dorset., heir to his father as a minor.

1571, Henry married Elizabeth.

6/5/1592, Henry arranged for his daughter Elizabeth’s wedding to John hall for consideration of £600.

1594, Henry died in Dorsetshire; leaving Grange farm in trust to his 5 surviving daughters. His possessions included the manor of Carlton, a moiety of the manor of Athelhampton, the manor of Bardolperton, the manors and advowsons of West Tincleton and West Woodsford.

1595, Elizabeth a co-heir of her father.

1594, John matriculated at Oxford.

John married Bridget Seymour, d/o Edward (29708).

1619, John knighted in Whitehall.

1/2/1620, “1) Sir John Brune of Athelhampstone, Knight and Dame Bridget his wife. 2) Robert Cooker of Mapowder, esq. Charles Brune of Athelhampston, esq. … In love and affection for love of brother Charles Brune and in consideration of marriage between Charles Brune and Mary, dau. of Robert Cooke. The manor of Rowner and le Grange.” (S) UKNA.

1639, John died. [No children.]

iii. Charles Brune, baptized ? in England. [Heir]

Charles married Mary Coker, d/o Robert of Mapowder.
