11/21/1539, “John Ryall” listed as departed from the Petersborough Monastery.
John was some sort of tax agent. Two records with his signature have his name spelled Ryal and Royall.
Aft. 1547, John died during the reign of King Edward VI. His will only mentions 2 children, although others may have died due to the plague.
