1610, Marie born in France.
~ 1614, Pierre born in St. Sauveur, France. [Today Saint-Sauveur D’Aunis.]
Pierre was a ploughman in Saint-Sauveur de Nuaille, a small village near La Rochelle.
1634, Pierre married Marie in Saint-Sauveur de Nuaille, France.
1650, the family moved to La Rochelle.
Bef. 1657, Pierre died in domicilie in La Rochelle, France.
3/1657, at the visit to the notary in La Rochelle for the marriage of daughter Louise, Guyon Denis accompanied his mother Marie Peroche, in the absence of their deceased father.
9/2/1657, Daughter Francoise’s marriage contract presented to Notary Savin. Present were Marie Peroche, mother of the intended bride; Guyon Denis Chiasson, her brother; Nicolas Joubert, Simon Gendron and Jacques Hurtault, Guyon’s brothers-in-law on account of Marie, Louise and Jeanne Chiasson, their wives; Nicolas Gaudin, her first cousin once removed; and Marie Chiasson, her first cousin once removed.
~1673, Marie died.

~1655 Marie married Nicolas Joubert in La Rochelle, Aunis, France.
9/2/1657, Marie & Nicholas attended presentation of Louise’s marriage contract.

ii. Louise Chaisson, born 1633 in St. Sauveur, De Nuaille in La Rochelle, France.
At the visit of the notary for the marriage of his sister Louise, Guyon Denis accompanied his mother Marie Peroche, in the absence of his deceased father.
4/10/1657 in La Rochelle, Louise married 1st Simon Gedron.
6/11/1659, Simon signed two conventions, one with Pierre Bizet, Sgr of Barouere, the other with David Thibaud.
~1665 Simon died.
4/16/1666, Louise, under the terms of procuration of her husband, dated April 22 of the previous year, ceded to Jean Belou, merchant, and Catherine Audet, his wife, a casseron of vineyard located at the stronghold of Maquiau, parish of Aytre.
Louise left for Canada when the next ships set sail.
9/14/1666 in Québec, Louise married 2nd Jacques Chapelain, of St Didier, 10 years younger than her.
10/16/1670, Louise and Jacques made a mutual donation. [Similar to a common-law marriage.]
12/1/1675, they bought property from Jean Soulard in Quebec.
8/7/1678, they bought more property from Jean Soulard. A site on the Place D’Armes, of 50 feet in front and 48 feet in depth, where they built a stone house, covered with shingles, of one floor, composed of a room with a fireplace and a shop.

10/27/1682 in Québec, Louise the godmother of Anne Louise Dubau, d/o Toussaint.
10/7/1683 in Quebec, at Louise’s house, her brother Guyon married his 2nd wife.
9/19/1692, with no children Louise and Jacques separated, selling all of their possessions for 5560 pounds, which they divided equally. Jacques returned to France. Louise donated her share to the syndicat of the Fathers Recollets, provided that they “gave to her a place in the general hospice of this said city, there to be nourished and maintained with all things necessary, during her life, like one of the poor of this place, and that after her death, prayers to God for the rest of her soul.”
1/4/1694 in Quebec, Louise, 75, a patient at the Hotel-Dieu.
1/8/1694, Louise, 75 and a native of La Rochelle, was buried in Quebec.

iii. Jeanne Chaisson, born 1633 in St. Sauveur, De Nuaille in La Rochelle, France.
~1657 in La Rochelle, Jeanne married Jacques Hurtault.
9/2/1657, Jeanne & Jacques attended presentation of Louise’s marriage contract.

iv. Francoise Chaisson, born 1633 in St. Sauveur, De Nuaille in La Rochelle, France.
9/2/1657, Francoise’s marriage contract presented to Notary Savin. Present were her mother Marie, brother Guyon, Nicolas Joubert, Simon Gendron and Jacques Hurtault, brothers-in-law, Nicolas Gaudin and Marie Chiasson, first cousins once removed.
10/7/1657 at St. Nicholas in La Rochelle, Françoise married Francois Bonhomme, son of Pierre Bonhomme, ploughman, and the late Claude Desneau.
10/25/1658, Françoise testified before Savin, notary of La Rochelle.
