1/12/1451-2, “The reversion of lands in Mayfield called 'la tenement atte Forde,' now held by Alice, wid. of John atte Forde for the term of her life. Witnesses: William Baylle, John Stapelegh, Thomas Couper, Thomas Pope, Nicholas atte Wode.” (S) UKNA.

10/3/1460, “Grant by Thomas Pytlesden of Tenterden (Kent), esquire, to Nicholas atte Wode of Tenterden, late the son of John atte Wode, of a piece of land lying in the parish of Tenterden upon the denne of Baltrynden, the King's way to the North, the land called Chichelelane to the east, and the lands of Henry atte Hale to the south and west, which land he had of the feoffment and gift of the said John. Given at Tenterden on 3 Octobert, 39 Henry VI.”

• 1467-72, “Thomas, son of Nicholas atte Wode. v. Thomas, son of John Fordmyll, …: Tenement, &c. in Chartham, called Bonehach, sold by the said Henry Hawkyslond to the said Nicholas.: [Kent].” (S) UKNA.
• Peter Atte Wode (c. 1325 - bef 1382) was a Justice in Eyre for England south of the Trent from 1360–1367. He was probably born in Coulsdon in Surrey (now Greater London) according to Manning and Bray’s History of Surrey. His father was Geoffrey Atte Wode (Abt 1297-1346), a Sergeant at Arms to Edward III and his mother was Anisia. Peter and his wife, Laurencia, had at least one son who was also named Peter Atte Wode (Bef 1363-aft 1384) who was a Knight of the Shire and married Petronilla.
