10/12/1442, Grant to the king’s serjeant John Trevelyn, yeoman of the crown, of the keeping of the manors, lordships and lands with advowsons of churches, late of Richard Hendover, esquire, tenant in chief, in the king’s hands by his death and the minority of Margaret, his daughter and heir, in the king’s ward, to hold from the time of his death during her minority with her marriage, and so from heir to heir. 4/1/1509, IPM of Thomas Tregarthyn [Cornwall]. …  seised of and in the manor of Tregarthyn … [see grants 1504, 1505] … Margaret, daughter of Richard Hendour, was seised of the manor of Branell with the advowson of the church of St. Stephens … & thus seised took to husband the said Thomas Tregarthyn & had issue by him, John, who died … John the son had issue Joan & Margaret Tregarthyn … Joan & Margaret daughters of John, son of Thomas, are his next heirs, & in like manner heirs of said Margaret, daughter of Richard Hender; Joan is aged 10 years & Margaret 6 years.

4/15/1500, Margaret, heiress of Court in Brannel, died.

5/10/1512 at Exeter, IPM of Thomas Tregarthyn. … Margaret daughter and heir of Richard Hendour was seised of a moiety of the manor of Westportlomouth, and 10 messuages, 200 acres of arable and pasture, 20 of meadow, 20 of wood, 1 watermill and 3s. rent there; the moiety of the fee-farm of the borough of Maleburgh: - all held of Nicholas Wadham, knt. … Margaret Hendour married Thomas Tregarthyn and they had issue John. … Margaret died 14 April [1500] … John Tregarthyn had 2 daughters, Joan and Margaret. He died and the reversion of the lands belonged to them after the death of Thomas Tregarthyn. … Next heirs, the said Joan, aged 13, and Margaret, aged 9.
