There is a Thomas that is a knight at this time, but his heir was an only daughter Joan – 8/19/1375, Presentation … to the church of Rammesdon Belhous, in the diocese of London, in the king’s gift by reason of his custody of the land and heir of Thomas Belhous, knight. (S) CPRs.
• Sir Thomas, the grandfather, had 3 sons: John, Nicholas, William. The Thomas Belhous knight mentioned apparently descended from the son John and his wife Alice Baynard, and had no surviving heirs; dying in 1375 – his heir was his cousin Margaret, d/o John Castelayn, married to Robert Knivet.
