4/4/1642 in La Rochelle, Jean signed a contract to work as a carpenter in New France with Guillaume des Jardins and Charles de la Tour of Acadie. Jean’s contract was for 3 years at 135 livres per year to work on Fort de la Tour on the St Jean River. [This is why there is a 3-year gap before daughter Anne is born.]

1681, Jean, age 73, died.

10/5/1716, Anne died in St Francois, I.O., Quebec, Canada.
