1943-45, WWII, J Robert served as a crew chief, attaining the rank of Staff Seargent. His speciality was Airplane Engine Mechanic. He participated in the air offenses of Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He also received the Good Conduct medal, 1 service stripe, and 3 overseas service bars.
