1264, Robert had several manors, lands, &c. confirmed to him by Robert son of Sir Richard Nerford, Knt. of Wreningham, in Wreningham, Thorp, Fundenhall, Hapton, Flordon, Ashwell, and Tacolneston.

4/7/1266, King Henry III confirmed to Robert son of John de Thorp, free-warren in all his demeans in Thorp, and in Massingham and Fundenhale in Norfolk, in Cotton in Suffolk, and Sharpenhowe in Bedfordshire.

1271, Robert impleaded for erecting a gallows at AshwellThorp, when the manor never had that liberty, which he took down; but had free-warren, view of frankpledge, assize of bread and ale allowed to the manor in Eire.

11/16/1272, Edward I succeeded Henry III as King of England.

1274, Margery, Robert’s mother, had an annuity out of the manor of Thorp.

1274, Robert fitz-John sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk.

1282, Robert granted freewarren in his manors of Horham, Hoxne, Wytton, and Stradbrook in Suffolk, and in Wreningham, Bunwell, and Fundenhall in Norfolk.

1284, Robert granted the liberties of a gallows, pillory, and weyf, in Thorp manor.

1294, Robert son of Sir John de Ayshewellethorp, and Maud his wife, granted to Robert Carleford of Shotesham, Uphall manor, in exchange for the said Robert's manor of Nelonde; and the said Robert de Carleford released this manor again to Sir Robert de Thorp aforesaid, and Maud his wife. Robert and Maud died.

The manor … … John de Thorp (11820448, b.1269) her kinsman, aged 36 and more, and … are next heirs of the said Sarra … [Bartholomew de Crek had: sons Robert, Geoffrey, John, and daughter Sarra.] … the right of the said manors reverted to Margaret (94563585) and Isabel (19989545), aunts of the said Sarra and sisters of Bartholomew her father … from the said Margaret the right of her pourparty descended to Robert (23640896) son of John (47281792) her son and heir, and from him to the aforesaid John de Thorp (11820448) as his son and heir …  (S) CIsPM.
