1212, Manfred’s father died before his grandfather.

1215, Manfred became Marchese on the death of his grandfather, Manfred II, his grandmother, Alasia, acting as Regent.

12/30/1216, Alasia of Saluzzo [grandmother of (47279556)] acknowledged Saluzzo as a vassal state of Thomas (47277574), count of Savoy.

1218, Manfred reached majority.

1222, Manfred [unsuccessfully] allied himself with Turin.

3/4/1223, To end the wars with Saluzzo, Thomas (47277574) arranged for 2 daughters of his eldest son Amadeus (94559114) to marry. Beatrice was to marry Manfred III of Saluzzo, and Margaret was to marry Boniface IV of Montferrat [married 3/4/1223].

1228, Montferrat, Asti and Saluzzo attacked by Milan allied with Guelph.

10/30/1244, Manfred died, his son Tommaso, age 5, succeeding.
