12/4/1362, Order to escheator in the co.’s of Somerset and Dorset, … Joan (Alice’s sister) late the wife of Henry le Frere held … Alice, daughter of John Walssh, 1 of her sisters, Simon Brut, son of Maud, her 2nd sister, and Christina, daughter of Edith Seintclere, her 3rd sister whom John atte Hull has take to wife, are her next heirs and of full age., … take the fealties of Alice, Simon and John atte Hulle and deliver their respective pourparties. 10/20/1386, Alice’s niece by her sister Edith, Christina, wife of John Hulle, died, her son John a minor. [Alice Malet was allotted her part and she took the profits of this part of the manor and of the advowson of Huish Champflower for 12 years. Nicholas Hull, Christina’s son, is aged 30 years and more. 11/19/1369, Alice’s niece by her sister Edith, Lucy, wife of Richard Malet, died.

1392, William Jewe [chaplain] conveyed by fine to Alice Malet, for her life, with remainder to John Jewe and his heirs, 6 messuages, 2 carucates of land, 20 a. of meadow, 100 a. of pasture in Westchikerell and Podyngton.

11/6/1392, Alice le Walsh, sometime wife of Walter Malet, in her widowhood to John Jewe, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands, rents, services, reversions, homages etc. in Podyngton and Westchikerel co. Dorset by him now occupied, which he had by her gift. (S) CCRs.
