2/2/1309, Walter Gosscelyn, knight, was with Sir Walter de Pavely, and came in the company of Lady Joan, the wife of the said Sir Walter de Pavely, from the manor of ‘la Broke’ to Wereminstre, to lift the said John, son and heir of Thomas Mauduyt from the font. … Richard Daneseye says he came with Lady Joan the wife of Sir Walter de Pavely, whose household servant he then was, and was present when the said John was baptized. … Roger de Berlee saw the said Sir John Strug and Lady Joan de Pavely lift the said John from the font. 1310-11, William Wyzdelou and Rohesia his wife to grant the manor of Shottesbrook to Reginald son of Walter de Pavely, Alice his wife, and his heirs. Berks.(S) UKNA.

11/18/1312, To the sheriff of Wiltshire. Order to expend up to 10 marks in repairing the king's houses within his castle of Old Sarum, Salisbury, by the view of Walter de Pavely. (S) CCRs.

1320-21, Walter de Pavely the elder to grant a messuage and rent in Westbury and Leigh to the prior and convent of Monkton Farley in exchange for a messuage, mill, and land in Westbury and Brook, retaining land in Westbury, Brook, Henedinghulle, and elsewhere. 8/3/1321 at London, Indenture between (1) Sir Warin de Lile, knight; and (2) Sir Geoffrey de Hauteville and Sir Roger Gacelyn, … county of Berkshire, before the said Geoffrey, Sir Walter de Pavely his brother … (S) UKNA.

1323, Walter died.

10/1/1323, IPM of Walter de Pavely. Wilts: Westbury, Broke, and Henedynghulle. The manors, including a wood called ‘le park’ in Broke, held of the king in chief by service of a knight’s fee. Westbury. The hundred, with the toll of the market of Westbury and of a fair there, held of the king at fee farm rendering 2 marks yearly by the hands of the sheriff. Avene. A messuage and a carucate of land, held of the abbot of Malmesbury, by service of 1/4 knight’s fee. Reginald his son, aged 30 and more, is his next heir.. (S) CIsPM.

3/23/1326, Proof of age of Maud the wife of Walter de Paveley, daughter and heir of Stephen de Burghersh. Norfolk: John de Morleye of Reydon [her godfather], aged 60 and more, says that the said Maud is aged 14 and more [b.8/9/1311] … (S) CIsPM.

1327, Walter Paveley, a rebel, died.
