• Parents place of births from Vianne’s and Preston’s 1880 census.
• Family history says the Davidson family came down the Atlantic seaboard through New York, Penn., down the Ohio River to Pearlington. William and Elizabeth 1st settled in St Tammany Parish, LA. From there they moved to Bayou La Batre, MobCo., AL.
• William was a Scotch Presbyterian.

No. 63:(S) 1860 Census, AL, MobCo. Her mother lives with her and she lives next door to her sister Vianne31. Joseph is a schooner captain, with real estate valued at $8,000 and a personal estate of $12,000. They have a 19 year old female black slave.
1864, Joseph died in Bayou La Batre.

7/10/1909 Preston died in Pascagoula, MS. Democrat Star, Friday, July 16, 1909: Died, in East Side, on Saturday, July 10, at 1:00 AM, Mr. Preston Burns Davidson, age 82 years, 5 months and 1 day. The funeral services took place the same day at 4:00 PM, interment being made in Machpelah Cemetery, Rev. A. C. Watkins, Pastor of North Pascagoula Street Baptist Church officiating.
6/19/1910, (S) 1910 Census, MS, JaxCo., Town of Eastside. Louisa lives with her daughter Eudora’s family on Bryan Rd. She is a wd; can read & write, and has had 3 children, all surviving.
