1737–l747, James with a cousin Daniel Purdy, “drummer”, sell part of his father’s [Thomas] estate.
1796, James died in New Castle, NY.

Children of James and ?:

i. James Purdy Jr. ( 76), born ~1745 in NY.

ii. Joseph Purdy, born ~1747 in NY.

iii. Jacob Purdy, born ~1749 in NY.
~1806, Jacob died at Milton, Rye, NY.
Children:
James Purdy, born 1788 in Rye, NY.
He was a farmer in Yorktown, Westchester Co., marrying ? Simmons of CT.
[They had 5 sons and 3 daughters.]
