1706, Alexandre born in Brielles [now Huelgoat], Diocese de Cornouailles, Brittany, France; s/o 1856. Francois Hyacinthe Labrise Kerouac & 1857. Veronique Madeleine Desevillac.

7/3/1712, Louise born in Canada; d/o 1858. Jean Baptiste Bernier & 1859. Marie Genevieve Caron.

1721-26, Alexandre left France for New France. (S) Bronze Plaque in Kingsey Falls, Arthabaska.

Alexandre came to New France to set up a fur trading business.

10/22/1732 in Cap St Ignace, Alexandre as “Maurice Louis” married Louise, a resident of Cap St Ignace. All parents listed. Louise was able to sign her name. Louis could not sign. Their son Louis, born before the marriage was present. Attending: Francois Giumont, Pierre Bouchard, Nicolas Jean Kerverzo.

3/5/1736, Alexandre died in Kamouraska, buried the next day.

1/11/1757, at the wedding of their son Louis, Alexandre is identified as deceased.

3/25/1802, Louise died in Cap St Ignace; buried the next day.
