Aft. 1194, William son and heir of Otto Fitz-William fined in 20 Marks, for relief for the Lands, which he held of the King by Serjeanty, and for half a Knight's Fee, which he held of the King in Capite. (S) History and Antiquities of the Eschequer, Madox, 1969, P320.

1195-1199, William, son of Otho, holds 40s by serjeantry of the Mints in London, and he has not fined. (S) The Athenaeum, Buckingham, 1835, P481.

By 1197, William married Maud.
