1193-94, §§Henry (b.~1160) in rebellion against Richard I. During the captivity of R.I in Germany [1193], Henry de la Pomeray of Cornwall seized on St. Michael’s Mount on behalf of John Earl of Cornwall [future King John], who was then in rebellion against the King his brother: on hearing of the King's release [1194], he surrendered it without making any defence. 1195, §§Henry owed 700 marks for livery of his lands and the king’s peace.
