7/1190, The English and French armies met at Lyons; where they learned that the German Emperor, leading his forces to the crusade, had died in an accident.

11/13/1213, King John cancels a debt of Robert of 100s.

1214, Robert Corbet assess £10 for Shropshire fees for the scutage of Poitou.

8/18/1214, John le Strange and Robert Corbet sent by King John to the Welsh barons that they might swear to the observance of the truce.

6/19/1215 at Runnymede near Windsor, King John forced to agree to the terms of the Magna Carta.

10/28/1216, Henry III, age 9, crowned king of England.

10/1217, Robert received letters of scutage from King Henry III allowing him to levy his own scutage. [Because of his son Thomas’ rebellion, the castle had been seized by the crown.]

1218, Robert Corbet assessed 10 marks for Shropshire fees for the 1st scutage of King Henry III.

7/22/1219, Robert a justice in Shropshire.

1220-21, Robert Corbet made a grant to Shrewsbury abbey, given tithes of his share of the produce of Shelve Mines [lead mines.]

1221, Assizes, Robert Corbet and his son Thomas at issue with the Abbot of Buildwas over pasturage.

1221, Robert assessed £1 1s 7d scutage for Biham at a rate of 10s per fee.
