~1181, Waleran married Isabella.

5/27/1199, John succeeded King Richard I of England.

~1200, Walter Waleran, having received 60 marks of silver, and his wife Isabella 2 bezants, conveyed all his landwhich he held of the fee of the Earl of Gloucester in Mersfield, to Payne de Turberville, to be held by the yearly rent of 1 sparrow-hawk. (S) Original in the possession of George Grant Francis, Esq. F.S.A. [It mentions, besides his wife Isabella, his mother Cecilia, and Sibilla her daughter, who head the witnesses.]

1201, Walter died, holding 25 knights fees.

1249, Sir Oliver de Ingham (121690520, s/o Albreda) and his cousin, William de St. Martin (60841032, s/o Joan, d/o Isabel), petition the crown for the restoration of forteited estates associated with the barony of Walter Waleran. (S) Wiltshire Arch. And Nat. Hist. Mag., 1885, P254. [The suit was not successful.]
