deceased, had only one sister of the whole blood named Alice; Alan Plukenet,
deceased, was her son, and Alan his son, aged 23, is next heir of the said John

I just stumbled on this. My surname is Boon. Some lines of the surname are said to descend from the deBohun name which is mentioned here and I have just become aware of the link between the deBohun and Plunkett families. I am very involved in using Y-DNA to research direct male lines. I have links to Boons, Bowns and Boones from Somerset but also a more distant connection to a Plunkett. These connections are through a shared male ancestor at some point. Given the DNA connection and the connection of the Plunketts and my Boones to Somerset but also to Ireland I am wondering what additional information you might have and what your interest is in the topic.
