1225, Peter de Tilliol on the King’s service with his former guardian Geoffrey de Lucy in the Isle of Wight.

1227, Peter had a court plea with his neighbor Richard de Levinton about the bounds of the adjoining manors of Scaleby and Kirklinton.

By 1229, Peter married Mary.

12/5/1246, Extent made concerning the lands of the late Peter de Tillolf in Cumberland. Scalebi. 233a. arable, 20a. meadow, a mill worth 7 marks, capital messuage with houses and grazing, pasture for work cattle. Total £14 11d. 31 oxganges of arable land in bondage of 20 ‘bondi’, 6 cottars holding 6 cottages, Freeholders with curtilages in the suburb of Carlisle. Total £14 8s 9.5d. The son and heir of the said Peter de Tillof, Geoffry by name, was 16 years of age in the first week of Lent. (S) Cal. of Doc’s Relating to Scotland, V1, 1881, P313.

12/25/1246, For the executors of the testament of P. de Tilliol. Order to the king’s escheator in Cumberland, to permit the executors to have free administration of all goods and chattels formerly of the same Peter in order to made execution of his testament. (S) FRsH.III.
