1260, Robert de Insula, and Alice his wife, conveyed by fine to Gerard de Insula, son of Robert and Alice, a messuage and 2 carucates of land in West Hall, Mundford, with the advowson of the church of Mundford [Norfolk].

1262, Robert died.

5/17/1262, A fine was levied between Gerard (her son), and Alice de Insula or L'Isle, of West Hall, Mundford, whereby she releases to Gerard and his heirs, in tail, all liberties, paying a rose only yearly, instead of £10. perannum, which he was obliged to pay to Robert, her late husband.

8/2/1265, Gerard de Insula and Lady Alice de Insula, his mother, Gerard has granted to Alice the manors of Kyngeston (Berks.), and Mundeford (Norf.); to hold for life, to hold as he held before of her gift, rent a sore sparrowhawk a year, with remainder to Gerard and his heirs.
