12/8/1335, To the sheriff of Wilts. Order to cause a coroner for that county to be elected in place of William de Stourton, who is insufficiently qualified. (S) CCRs.

6/1349, The Plague reached Dorset, and had spread across England by the end of 1349.

Joan died before William.

3/18/1374, Appropriation made by John bishop of Bath and Wells to the prior and canons of Staverdale … at the petition of John de Stourton ordering that they shall keep a secular parish chaplain for the cure of souls … shall celebrate mass of the office of the dead daily, …  for Philippa late queen of England, … for John de Stourton. William died.
