• 6/22/1819 in Clarke Co., AL a “William Cochran”, ~70, formerly of Henry Co., VA applied for a veteran’s pension. He stated that he had served in the VA line beginning 1/1/1777 in the 14th Regt. under Capt. Henry Conway & Col. Charles Lewis; serving 3 years; later discharged 2/1780 at Frederickstown, MD as a sergeant.
• There is a George Cochran at this time in Natchez that could be an ancestor.
