Thomas 1st married Agnes.
1662 in Charles City Co. two men testified that: “Mr. Thomas Cocke’s wife was a very shrewd woman to her servants and that she fed them with the husks that were sifted from the corn that was fitter to be given to horses than to Christians and that such her hard usage made one of her servants run away.”
10/4/1675, Thomas received patents for 1983 acres in Charles City Co. and 3087 acres in Henrico Co. for transporting 102 persons to the colony. (S) PB6, P563.

1688, Thomas “Pickthorn Farm” sold land that he and his brothers had inherited from their father to Thomas East. (S) Henrico Co. Deeds & Wills, 1688-97, P245. Thomas’ 5000 acre plantation, “Malvern Hills,” was on the James opposite Turkey Island. He had a flour mill, tobacco houses, orchards, two tanneries, and looms to make quality linen.

12/10/1691 Thomas wrote his will identifying his six children including married daughters, Agnes Harwood and Temperance Harwood, and mentioned several grandchildren. (S) Henrico Co. Deeds & Wills, 1688-97, P684.

Henry Cocke, born ~1695.
1714 lost at sea, onboard the ship Harrison bound for VA. His will leaves James – “all my land on White Oak Swamp”; Brassure – “plantation left to me”; Elizabeth – “plantation lying on Maulburn Hill” & negroes.

ii. Stephen Cocke, born ~1665 in VA.
1688, Stephen married Sarah Marston.

5/26/1694, Stephen married Martha Jones Banister.

iii. James Cocke, born ~1667 in VA.
1689, James, “of Curles”, resigned as undersheriff of Henrico Co.
