N.Y. He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph Cohen, Harry Cohen, and his
dear sister, Mollie Klier Roloff. He was married for 68 years to his adoring wife,
Ruth. Murray and Ruth truly had a love story for the ages. Murray is survived
by his daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Richard Homan, Marilyn and Michael
Spiegel; grand-children, Brett Spiegel, Todd and Andrea Homan, Sean and Sarah
Spiegel, Dean and Karina Spiegel, Lauren Homan Wilson and Donna Wilson; and two
great grandchildren, Ryan and Luke Homan. Murray served in World War II. He is
also known for his many years of community service activities. In 2006, Murray
was selected to be one of 60 senior citizens in the state of Florida, to be
part of the Wisdom of the Ages exhibit that traveled throughout the Smithsonian
Museum system concluding in Washington, D.C. Murray has been honored by both
the Broward County Commission and the Florida House of Representatives. Murray
was a truly good man. His children and grandchildren are proud to have
inherited his value system recognizing family, community, and integrity above
all else. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to T.O.P.
Jewish Foundation care of Weinberg Village Assisted Living Residences. Services
will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, at Beth David Chapel, 3201 N. 72nd
Ave., Hollywood, Fla. The family will be sitting Shiva, following the
ceremonies and Tuesday and Wednesday at the Homewood Suites, 2061 Griffin Road,
Dania Beach, Fla. Shiva will continue in Tampa Thursday and Friday, at 3404
